ALDI customers looking to do some shopping over Christmas can already plan ahead as the supermarket has revealed its opening hours.

For anyone wanting to make a quick run to the shops, here’s the lowdown on when Aldi is open over the festive period.

It’ll be business as usual in the run-up to Christmas Eve, with Aldi shops open between 8am to 10pm Monday to Friday.

After this they’ll change slightly, so we’ve spelled out the opening hours for a majority of Aldi’s 830 stores below.

What are Aldi’s opening hours over Christmas including Xmas Eve?

The discounter is open between 8am until 6pm on Christmas Eve.

It’ll then close to give staff a rest on Christmas Day and Boxing Day – December 25 and 26 – so make sure you stock up on any Aldi essentials before then.

It means employees will get more time with their families over the festive season, in a move that’s been praised by shoppers.

What are Aldi’s opening hours for December 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31?

Once Christmas is over and done with, Aldi will open its doors again on December 27. The following opening hours apply:

  • Friday December 27 – open 8am to 8pm
  • Saturday December 28 – open 8am to 8pm
  • Sunday December 29 – open 10am to 4pm
  • Monday December 30 – open 8am to 8pm
  • Tuesday December 31 (New Year’s Eve) – 8am to 6pm

Is Aldi open on New Year’s Day and January 2?

Sadly for Aldi shoppers, the discounter is closing its stores once again on New Year’s Day – January 1.

But it’ll then open its doors on January 2, welcoming shoppers between 8am to 10pm.
