They come in packs of 250g and cost £1.25 each, with the zoo animals shaped like elephants and hippos.

The chicken nuggets can be munched on after just 12 minutes in the oven.

Available in Aldi stores already, they were shared by Facebook page Bag a Weekly Bargain recently.

The post proved a hit among followers, with one user saying: “Turkey dinosaurs are a thing of the past, we now have unicorns.”

While another tagged her mum and wrote: “Mum best go get me some of these.”

And a third one added: “I’m gonna have a look for these on Tuesday.”

The zoo animal chicken shapes contain 274 calories per 100g, while the unicorn treats contain 291 calories in the same amount.

They’re available in Aldi stores only, and not online. You can find your nearest branch by using its store locator tool.

If you don’t live near one, you can get a bigger 342g pack of frozen safari animal chicken shapes for £1.50 at Asda.

It’s the only supermarket of the big four currently selling similar animal-inspired products.
