Amundi has hired Clarisse Djabbari as head of strategy and development for its ETF, indexing and smart-beta arm from Lyxor.

In the newly created role, Djabbari will report to Fannie Wurtz, managing director of Amundi ETF, indexing and smart-beta.

At Lyxor, Djabbari was deputy head of ETFs from April 2010. Prior to Lyxor, she held a number of roles at parent company Societe Generale including head of finance in its global equity derivatives solutions business and head of accounting and finance control.

She started her career in 1995 at Deloitte where she spent five years before joining Societe Generale in May 2000.

In September, Investment Week revealed Amundi’s head of distribution for UK, Ireland and Greece Stephanie Carbonneil had joined Alianz Global Investors as head of investment trusts.

The firm subsequently promoted Philip Philippides to head of third-party distribution for the UK.
