Apple files for ‘Apple Watch Studio’ Trademark while being Granted 2 Registered Trademarks for Apple TV – Patently Apple


 

This week the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office published Apple’s latest registered trademarks for the figurative version of Apple TV. One of the trademark classes covers TV, cable, satellite, internet streaming, subscriptions and the like while the other trademark covers the types of programming and services like television programs, motion pictures, multimedia entertainment content, sports and more.

 

Apple also filed for a trademark covering ‘Apple Watch Studio,’ a new service that allows a new Apple Watch customer to chose the case and band they want for a customized look.

Apple’s first Figurative Trademark is now a registered trademark (RTM) under number 5,994,243. It was specifically filed under International Class 038 with the following verbiage:

Apple’s second Figurative Trademark is now a registered trademark (RTM) under number 5,994,244. It was specifically filed under International Class 041 with the following verbiage:

For the record, trademark classes are important because the trademark registration will only protect Apple’s trademark(s) in the classes that have been identified in their original application.
