NEW DELHI: After successfully enabling the financial inclusion of over 1,00,000 micro enterprises, Aye Finance is launching its not for profit Company FAME (Foundation for Advancement of Micro Enterprises), under which it will run its CSR interventions.

Social good is a core value at Aye and has been an inherent part of the impact the lender is making in the micro lending segment. Now with the launch of FAME, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aye, the MSME lender wants to contribute towards the development of the communities it operates in and support and nurture the ecosystem for micro enterprises.

Brij Mohan, who has previously served as the Executive Director of SIDBI and is also referred to as the pioneer of micro finance in India, is the Chairperson of FAME and under his guidance the company will launch initiatives that work towards building competencies of micro entrepreneurs, leading to the self-sustainability of the sector.

Aye is at a vantage point to support these enterprises given its experience with working on the ground with over 1 lakh such businessmen. Through its not-for-profit arm, the fintech lender will run projects that will empower and enable the micro enterprises through non-financial guidance and support, professionalising them and providing the impetus for their growth into new-age India
