Bell Fibe Internet Customers Seeing Reduced Download Speeds in Quebec – iPhone in Canada

Rogers and Fido internet customers aren’t the only ones dealing with problems today, as now Bell Fibe customers in Quebec are complaining of drastically reduced internet speeds.

iPhone in Canada readers let us know their Bell Fibre to the Home (FTTH) connections are seeing speeds below 15 Mbps, despite upload speeds still at over 500 Mbps.

“I’m on Gigabit and should be getting 1,000 Mbps download and 750 Mbps upload; but download speeds are at 5-10 Mbps, despite upload remaining fine,” explains John.

Customers located in areas such as St. Jerome, Terrebonne, Val-Morin, Mirabel, Laval and Blainville are seeing reduced speeds. Many customers are complaining online that they cannot get through to Bell Support and the company has not announced any errors or outages.

The Bell Support Twitter account appears to be dealing with a backlog of replies, as it is still replying to customers from March 31st. Nothing has been mentioned about the ongoing slowdown of Gigabit internet.

Are you seeing reduced internet download speeds on Bell fibre right now?
