Bithumb, a cryptocurrency exchange, said on Feb. 18 that it signed a strategic partnership agreement with BitMax, a Singaporean exchange.
The two companies will develop new services and strengthen their competitiveness in the global market by working together. They will actively cooperate in the development of infrastructure for cryptocurrencies.
Global cryptocurrency exchange BitMax was founded in 2018. Currently, the company ranks 10th to 15th in terms of coin market cap liquidity in the world, offering derivatives based on the volatility of cryptocurrency prices.
Bithumb will sharpen its competitiveness as a blockchain and cryptocurrency technology company and gain strong momentum to enter the global market through the collaboration. It is actively moving forward with the enforcement of its own technology development capabilities and working with domestic and foreign organizations to become a blockchain based global general financial platform company.
