Cape Coral Police looking for iPad, iPhone thieves – NBC2 News

Police are looking for three men who allegedly stole three iPhones and three iPads from a Cape Coral AT&T store.

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Police are looking for three men who allegedly stole three iPhones and three iPads from a Cape Coral AT&T store. 

On Tuesday, Cape Coral Police responded to a theft at the AT&T store at 1860 NE Pine Island Rd, according to a press release. 

The store manager told police that three black males stole several devices and ran away. 

One suspect made a distraction by asking about information on Apple AirPods, while the other two went to the Apple stand and ripped three iPads and three iPhones out of the display. 

According to the press release, the manager described the suspect who made the distraction as wearing a long black shirt with grey sweatpants. 

The suspects allegedly stole an iPhone XS Max, an iPhone XS, an iPhone XR, an iPad 9.7-inch, and iPad Air 11-inch and an iPad Pro 12.9-inch valued at about $5,500 in total. 

The three men also caused property damages to the AT&T store totaling about $1,000.
