CALUMET, Mich. (WLUC) – Hundreds of people filled Fifth Street in Calumet Saturday afternoon for the 16th annual Pasty Fest.
It’s obvious the community was there to eat delicious pasties, but also to check out more than a dozen classic cars.
Larry Julio was one of the many owners who showed off their prized possession. His was a 1986 El Camino, which Julio says he’s proud to display to the community.
“It’s neat to show off what you’ve done. I’ve built a lot of things on it. I’ve had it for four years and I’ve put a lot of add-ons onto it and dressed it up,” he explained.
All proceeds from the show will support the Keweenaw Heritage Center at St. Anne’s.
