Digital Showroom was launched by DotPe last September to help offline business owners engage with their customers and manage their trade digitally. Since then, over five million merchants across the country registered themselves on the app by entering their store name, number and address and started to sell online. Merchants on Digital Showroom are doing monthly transactions worth more than Rs 38 crore.
The platform gives businesses access to solutions that provide free catalog listing, marketing tools, and integrated online payment solutions. With this recent innovation, it has gone a step further by helping them establish a unique identity in the market through custom domain names and a library of themes for websites.
Businesses can stand out from their competitors and share their website with the customers easily over WhatsApp and other platforms to start accepting orders. Given that most businesses are struggling in the current economic climate, the platform has also ensured that payments get credited directly to the merchant’s account instantly.
The platform plans to introduce additional features like managing delivery to help merchants sell directly, sell more, and scale easily through their phones with its digital ecosystem.
In a statement, Shailaz Nag, CEO and cofounder of DotPe said, “Digital Showroom was first O2O brand that empower 5 million merchants under a year and penetrate tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Now it is a full-stack commerce solutions brand to give merchants their own website through phones. We are hoping to continue paving the way for innovation to help merchants in every corner of India.”
