Energy-Water Bill Urges Grid Security, Bars Army Corps Revamping – Bloomberg Law


An energy and water spending measure for fiscal 2021 that would block President Donald Trump’s revamping of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and protect the U.S. power grid from cyber threats will head to the House Appropriations Committee Monday.

Other policy language, detailed in a 235-page committee report released Sunday, would bar the administration from using the funds for its planned resurrection of U.S. underground nuclear testing.
