Glendale Police Seek iPhone Thief –

Police Saturday sought the public’s help in identifying and locating a man who they believe stole several new replacement iPhone screens from a shop at the Glendale Galleria valued at $25,675 and fled the scene.

The man also may be connected to an earlier theft in Arcadia, said Tahnee Lightfoot of the Glendale Police Department.

According to police, at 9:35 a.m. on March 14, the suspect forced open several locked cabinets at the We Fix Now iPhone repair kiosk inside the Glendale Galleria at 100 W. Broadway, Lightfoot said.

He stole several new replacement iPhone screens valued at $25,675 and left the Galleria driving a gray Maserati Ghibli sedan with temporary registration in the front windshield, she said.

He is believed to be responsible for a similar case in March 2019 in the city of Arcadia, she said. An employee from the prior theft in Arcadia recognized the suspect and began recording from his cell phone, she said.
