TYNGSBORO — Greater Lowell Technical High School recently announced its November Students of the Month, selected based on the characteristics of respect, effort, accountability, commitment and honesty.

Gabriel Bettencourt

Gabriel Bettencourt of Dracut is the Senior of the Month. He is in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program and maintains honor-roll status in all courses, including Advanced Placement Environmental Science and Honors Pre-Calculus. He applies his technical abilities through the school’s Cooperative Education program as a technician at American Air.

Gabriel competes for the soccer and spring track teams. He is looking forward to attending college and gaining additional real-world experience in the HVAC field.

Jeffrey Diaz

Jeffrey Diaz of Lowell is the Junior of the Month. He is in the Marketing Education program and utilizes his business, customer-service and accounting skills in the school stores and as an intern for the in-school branch of Lowell Five Bank. He is a member of SkillsUSA, placing second in the Community Outreach Open House Challenge and earning a silver medal in Career Pathways Showcase at the 2019 State Leadership and Skills Conference.

Jeffrey is a high-honors student and volunteers at the Lowell Boys & Girls Club. He plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Devin Laurencio

Devin Laurencio of Lowell is the Sophomore of the Month. He is in the Programming and Web Development Program and is taking an Advanced Placement course in Computer Science Principles.
Devin is ranked 17th in the sophomore class with a grade-point average of 4.34, and is a high-honors student. He plans to attend college to study for a career in computer programming.

Marjori Heller

Marjori Heller of Lowell is the Freshman of the Month. She entered Greater Lowell Tech from Robinson Middle School and is previewing technical programs. She is interested in studying either Health Assisting/Pre-Nursing, Early Childhood or Electronics.

Marjori is a member of the swim team. She has displayed diligent efforts to produce high-quality work in academics and sports.
