ERLANGER, Ky. — Heavy rainfall throughout Greater Cincinnati left at least two homes flooded and cars submerged on Erlanger’s Stevenson Road Monday night.

The city of Erlanger

tweeted at 6:30 it would shut down Stevenson,

attaching a trio of pictures to emphasize the severity of the flooding. In the first, a red sedan is submerged up to its windows in murky brown water — the black SUV nearby is up to its wheels.

By the third, only the sedan’s roof is visible.

The flooding was less intense in nearby Concord Drive, where vehicles could still pass through, but still significant enough to put at least one underground garage underwater.
