The smartphone has been available at additional 10% discount with HDFC Bank credit and debit cards under an offer which ended earlier this week.
However, it’s back now. But this time for State Bank of India (SBI) customers. All purchases made via SBI credit and debit cards will be eligible for additional 10% discount bringing the cost of base variant (64GB) of iPhone XR to Rs 53,900.
Like the previous HDFC Bank offer, the SBI Bank offer too is offline exclusive. The 10% discount offer can be availed at select Apple authourised reseller stores across the country. There’s also no-cost EMI offers available on Bajaj Finance Limited, HDFC Bank Consumer Loans and IDFC First Bank. There’s no time limit announced for the offer, it is said to be available till stocks last.
There are also exchange offers available. An exchange discount of Rs 20,000 is available on iPhone 7 Plus. For iPhone 6, it’s Rs 8,000. There are also discounts available on exchange of Android smartphones.
Interestingly, the Apple iPhone XR was available at special price of Rs 50,000 in the recent 48-hour Amazon Prime Day sale. However, the smartphone went out of stock within hours.
Apple iPhone XR specifications
Apple launched iPhone XR, along with iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max in September last year. Cheapest of the three 2018 flagship smartphones, Apple iPhone XR hit stores in India in November last year. Apple iPhone XR runs on A12 Bionic processor which is also found in the more expensive iPhones. It is said to be iPhone offering best battery life.
Apple iPhone XR is water and splash resistant and comes with features like FaceID. There’s a single 12MP camera at the back whereas for selfies there’s a 7MP sensor at the front. The iPhone XR offers more screen estate than the XS as it features a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina Display.
