According to a report by Forbes, the latest iOS update includes a security vulnerability that prevents users’ data from being secure when they use a VPN (Virtual private network) on their iPhone. First discovered by popular VPN service Proton, the bug is unable to close the existing unsecured connections whenever the VPN starts and “some are long-lasting and can remain open for minutes to hours outside the VPN tunnel.”
“Neither Proton VPN nor any other VPN service can provide a workaround for this issue because iOS does not permit a VPN app to kill existing network connections,” Proton explains.
The Forbes report, however, doesn’t reveal this as the only bug. It also claims that besides the security vulnerabilities the iOS 13.4 — as well as the iPadOS 13.4 — is also causing issues that include “broken third-party keyboards on iPads, unreliable Bluetooth connectivity with odd shortcut glitches and crashes and missing cellular networks for dual sim users.”
“On top of this, there are bugs in Control Center, the virtual keyboard, Assistive Touch, opening and updating apps and more,” added the report.
Here are some of the complainants from India who took to Twitter to report the issues:

It remains to be seen when Apple rolls out another update to fix these issues. To recall, the beta version of iOS 13.4 update was rolled out almost a month back, which means extensive testing had been done before it reached the general public.
One of the big features to come with iOS 13.4 is iCloud Drive folder sharing. This is more like a Dropbox kind of feature which allows iPhone users to share a folder and have others see the contents as and when they are updated.
