Theft: Solon Road
A thin, adult male suspect was captured on a home’s video camera entering a man’s car and stealing his wallet. The victim filed a police report at 9:24 a.m. Dec. 26. The wallet contained credit cards that were then used at different locations. Police are investigating.
Found property: South Main Street
Someone left a double baby stroller in a resident’s yard sometime before 11 a.m. Dec. 28, when it was found. The stroller is now at the police station, where the owner can identify and claim it.
Disturbance: West Carriage Drive
Police were dispatched to a home at 7:19 p.m. Dec. 22 where a man and woman were arguing. There was no sign of physical violence. The woman, who did not reside there, left. Both were advised to not contact each other for the rest of the night.
Assist: South Chagrin Reservation
Bentleyville police asked for help shortly before noon Dec. 29 to deal with a woman sleeping in her car. Officers responded and turned the incident over to Cleveland Metroparks rangers.
Harassment: West Washington Street
Police advised a Chagrin Falls man, 25, to stop sending harassing messages to a woman, 21, and to cease all further contact with her after she reported the problem Dec. 30.
