Growing up, Dobrincu revealed himself to be a tech prodigy. Born in Bucharest, Romania, he was deeply passionate about programming and tech at a young age. He started learning about software engineering on his own at age 7, and his life was soon full of software development and technological endeavors.

For the next 10 years, Dobrincu continued to refine his engineering skills. During his teenage years, he used his talents to build libraries of various software and popular services. His coding genius was ultimately used for immensely popular products and services like Spotify, Facebook and TikTok.

But he didn’t stop there. By the time he was 17, he had founded Storyheap, which ended up becoming a leading social media content marketing platform.

The platform helps brands, influencers, agencies and individual clients manage, analyze and improve their social media presence based on statistical data and analysis generated by machine learning. At the same time, these efforts create brand awareness, grow social followings and generate higher search-engine rankings.

Becoming  A Serial Entrepreneur

After enjoying initial success with Storyheap, Dobrincu began his serial entrepreneurial journey. Using his industry knowhow and expertise, he ended up founding Brandmates and Owlmetrics, with the mission to help brands understand and use statistics to increase their social media awareness and at the same time grow their business.

These two startups offer comprehensive social media analytics alongside real-time insights into specific accounts and channels so that companies can benchmark and optimize their performance online. Combined, these two software entities have led to millions in revenue from such high-profile clients as Universal, Interscope Records and HubSpot.

It was Dobrincu’s ability to see around corners that led him to be at the forefront of the personal wellness industry. He founded the Mood brand, which quickly became one of the most successful players in the industry.

Dobrincu followed in the footsteps of prominent technology leaders Elon Musk and Larry Page by attending Stanford University. There he specialized in machine learning and artificial intelligence, both of which are fields that have greatly benefited his current endeavors.

The Next Silicon Valley Icon

It didn’t take long for Dobrincu to gain recognition in the media and among other Silicon Valley celebrities.

Dobrincu not only made Forbes’ 2019 edition of 30 Under 30 Europe list, but he was also the youngest member of the bunch. Asked about his remarkable entrepreneurial success, Dobrincu said, “The professional accomplishments I’ve achieved are the result of a lifelong mission to use my abilities to make the world slightly better.” When people ask about Dobrincu’s net worth, he quickly reiterates his objectives, “Heartening as the success to date has been, I am still very early in achieving the goals I set for myself and I feel like I’m just getting started.”

Over time, Dobrincu has become a highly talented public figure and speaker. He has made a name for himself across the globe, speaking at conferences all over the world, where he shares his entrepreneurial advice with his audiences. All his educational efforts are aimed at helping aspiring business leaders develop their talents, learn insider secrets and navigate the tech world despite such obstacles as age, money and time.

Facebook And Apple Fighting Over Dobrincu

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has recognized Dobrincu as a leader in the business and software-engineering world. He invited Dobrincu to Menlo Park, Facebook’s headquarters, just because “he wanted to meet” the now 20-year-old tech startup genius.

Zuckerberg is not the only one who has recognized Dobrincu’s talents. Tim Cook invited Dobrincu to visit the Apple headquarters in Cupertino when he was 18. The visit turned out to be a recruiting effort, with Cook trying to convince Dobrincu to join Apple’s software-engineering team.

Top talent is worth the fight. Dobrincu decided to go with his independent ventures instead of joining one of the tech giants.

But, as you might have guessed, he didn’t take the opportunity. He preferred to remain independent, and decided his potential was better spent pursuing his own interests and business ideas.

“I’d rather try something new that fills other people’s needs than something safe and comfortable for myself,” Dobrincu explained.
