If you an ardent fan of Game Of Thrones, we’ll begin with this – we feel you, folks. And in case you belong to that per cent of the millenial crowd who steers clear of the fantasy series the universe is obsessed with, we’ll explain the veracity of the aforementioned statement. Game Of Thrones concluded last week with its final episode titled The Iron Throne last Monday. That should explain most of it, though!
Millions in India watched the world-famous show on Mondays at 6.30am and often made an exception to wake up early just for GOT. But this Monday was different. It is the first Monday without a Game of Thrones episode in a month and a half.
Twitter is sighing deeply and fans are in the depths of despair, but there’s some consolation. A behind-the scenes documentary, Game of Thrones: The Last Watch aired this morning. The near-two-hour documentary reveals several anecdotes and trivia about the characters and the series.
For example, Kit Harington, cast as Jon Snow in GOT, was made aware of murdering Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys during his first table read as he hadn’t read the script beforehand.
Also, we are sure you didn’t know that the snow on set was made using paper and water. You can watch the documentary for more such details but for now, here’s a cursory glance at what Twitter has opined of The Last Watch:
I am living for this documentary because there is just SO much that goes into filming and these people are FINALLY getting the credit they rightly deserve #TheLastWatch

Although The Last Watch has satiated the GOT craving of fans at the moment, that doesn’t really help in the long run. Why? Because this:
Thank you Emilia Clarke, thank you Kit Harington for bringing Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow to life. Thank you for dedicating 10 years of your lives to these characters that I’ll always love no matter what. #GameOfThrones #TheLastWatch pic.twitter.com/BOvaKsCFoU

Regardless of how you feel about D&D and the final season I think we can all agree that the entire crew gave everything to make the best season they were able.
They & the cast should be commended for their hard work. #TheLastWatch #GameOfThrones pic.twitter.com/PcfisLJ6yz

Adapted from American author George RR Martin’s novel of the same name, Game of Thrones premiered in the United States in April 2011 and spanned across 73 epsiodes over eight seasons.
Game Of Thrones, directed by David Benioff and DB Weiss, had Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, Lena Headey and Peter Dinklage in the pivotal roles apart from Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke.
