How to reset SBI net banking profile password

State Bank of India’s (SBI) Internet banking access comes with two passwords – login password and profile password. The login password allows you to access the Internet banking facility, whereas the profile password is an additional layer of security provided by the bank for making changes or accessing details related to your Net banking profile.

The profile password is usually used by an Internet banking user to access his/her own profile details on Internet banking facility or to add a third party in order to transfer funds or to change the login password.

A new feature added on the SBI website, allows a user to lock his/her internet banking access to prevent fraud. The profile password is also required to unlock the access if you have locked it using this feature.
