Bengaluru — home to many buzzing tech startups — is working on a law the likes of Swiggy, Zomato, Uber and Ola may be deeply concerned about. Karnataka has sought help of National Law School of India University in drafting what is probably India’s first such law to ensure welfare of gig economy workers. It hasn’t been a cakewalk as experts are figuring out.
