As predictable as any other iOS user label… moreI donÂt have to counter your argument as you are desperate running around in iOS topics, rather just get yourself an iPhone SE itÂs better than any crapdragon or crapxynos overheating and bad battery mess that you are using. You seem to be lurking around here a lot 🙂
bjorg18, 3 hours agoWow…
Lucky iPhone 6s users…yes iPhone 6s users are even more lucky than Galaxy s9 users.
That means the $399 iPhone SE 2020 will get updates and overall support longer than the lemon $1400 s20 ultra failure.

As predictable as any other iOS user labeling useful features that iOS lacks as Gimmicks!
Go home boy and play with your ToyOS.
Android is for the big Boyz!

All those gimmicks are useless and poorly supported
Anonymous, 1 hour agoYour beloved iPhone will get slower after each update. It is Apple’s strategy. And what about … moreI bet it has more features and functionality than current iOS or even future iOS versions for that matter.
Boring IOS simply playing catchup.
Outdated before launch.

Android from ten years back can do that.
Your beloved iPhone will get slower after each update. It is Apple’s strategy. And what about android. Well for me updates don’t matter as long as my phone works good enough. I’m using Samsung S6 Edge powered by android 7. It is the last official version available. But all functions are working.
., 5 hours agoGoogle and OnePlus release only 3-4 devices a year, yet give only 3 full version updates. The 5 year update system of iOS is a giant scam. You get latest features 5 years late on an average. Android is light years ahead of iOS in terms of functionality, customizability, security and ease of use. Android from 5 years back can do things iPhone can’t.
All the upcoming features tells you that iOS is playing catchup as usual.
Plus with every subsequent update, your battery and cpu are deliberately slowed down by Apple (Yes, they are paying fines for this malpractice) whereby one is forced to upgrade after a few years.
hehe, 6 hours agoHave you maybe considered that people care about security updates more than they do about new … moreUnless a group of hackers specifically target you using the security hole or vulnerability (if it exists) which is not fixed through a security patch, you have nothing to worry about. The likelihood of such a thing happening is 0.00001%.
So lack of security patches don’t affect the end user in the real world.
Ppl and several businesses used Intel chipsets for years without issues despite the Spectre & Meltdown vulnerabilities. As I said, unless a team of hackers specifically target you exploiting that security loophole, you are safe.
Ppl continue to fall for marketing gimmicks where they feel if they don’t have the latest security patch, they are vulnerable or worse the phone becomes unusable after 2 years. These are the same people that can be hacked using a simple phising link and they are worried about vulnerabilities in the system that are less likely a threat.
LilPhone, 7 hours agoNo CPU throttling…pleaseCpu will throttle unless Apple puts built in cooling like Gaming phones
But we all know, we can’t expect that from shameless company like Apple.
They want to milk customers like Intel did on their chips with lackluster soldering and thermal paste.
Lucky iPhone 6s users…
Anonymous, 6 hours agoMost people don’t understand that there are tens of different Android phone manufacturers. It’… moreI can assure you that the reasons you listed are more wrong. AppleÂs philosophy is different than androids oems. When apple sells a product, it doesnÂt just sell a product, apple wants to offer full service and warranty to satisfy customers and retain them in the long run. And yeah, itÂs easier for apple to update iOS since they donÂt have to put any skins on top of iOS. Android oems, on the other hand, want to sell as much hardware as possible for profits and there is no incentives to continue support with updates that donÂt bring them any profits, except being obligated by google if they want to use googleÂs services.
I really think that instead of crapping on apple, some of you android fans should applaud apple for offering these unprecedented support and hope that your favorite oem will copy these kind of things from apple. HMD has been one of the better updates oems but nobody buys their phones so maybe buy NokiaÂs to send a message to other androids oems.
Why can’t android, especially the Pixels, copy the one good thing Apple does? I mean, they have no qualms copying other useless Apple things — notches, no mSD card, glass backs, no 3.5mm jack.
Anonymous, 6 hours agoMost people don’t understand that there are tens of different Android phone manufacturers. It’… moreThat’s not really a reason, more likely it’s because companies have to sell new products, for most companies phone sales are almost everything what they get from those users, so Android people using same phone many years just isn’t good business for OEMs. Giving short support isn’t good business either, but they propably had to choose one which they think is better in long run.
When Apple sells iPhone they will still get money from those users years after from the ecosystem. So even if people are keeping their iPhones longer Apple makes whole lot of money from that even if they don’t upgrade their phone. And when the time comes they are more likely to stay in iOS after great long support from the company. It’s win win situation for Apple really.

When Apple launched FaceID then android users said we had this for years… but android is still behind that feature in terms of reliability and ease of use.
Apple does when it is perfect and not half baked. Face ID is just an example and there are so many. This is just to hide the fact that android manufacturers canÂt support even their flagships with new OS upgrades max after 2 years.
