Jurupa Valley fire displaces 1, kills ‘multiple’ cats – Press-Enterprise

A Christmas night fire displaced one person and killed “multiple” cats in Jurupa Valley, according to Cal Fire officials.

The fire was reported just before 11 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, in the 6800 block of 36th Street.

Firefighters found the fire burning in the kitchen of the home.

No person was hurt.

Riverside County Animal Services was called to help with the cats that perished.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
