The Michigan State Police says a Lake City couple has been arrested for stealing a vehicle.

The Missaukee County Sheriff’s Office believe it was used in a breaking and entering case.

The owner said he had lent the car to Christina Teed, age 31, and Marshal Park, age 41.

It was reported stolen when deputies informed the owner, a Lake City resident, they believed the couple were leaving the area with the car.

Within the hour, MSP says the car was found and “disabled” on a Bay County roadway.

Teed and Park were arrested and charged with motor vehicle theft.

MSP says they are also facing additional charges for a case being investigated by the sheriff.

No word yet on the details of that breaking and entering case.
