Jabaa, based in Garland, Maine, is the successor-in-interest to Biometric Associates LP’s rights for the patent, according to a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Biometric’s co-founder, Doug Kozlay, previously worked for the National Security Agency and is the named inventor on several identity- and security-related patents, including the one asserted against Lululemon.
