Moldova Tax Agency Posts FAQ on Taxation of Digital Currency Sales – Bloomberg Tax

The Moldovan State Tax Service May 26 posted online an FAQ explaining the taxation of income from the sale of digital currency. The FAQ clarified: 1) the recognition of digital currency as a capital asset in specified situations; 2) the taxable portion of gains from from digital currency transactions is 50 percent; and 3) tax deadlines and filing rules.
