Music Week – Music Week

Live music tech startup Peex has appointed Patrick Vosgimorukian as its new CEO.

With a background working with next generation tech companies, Vosgimorukian will be leading the music tech startup into the next phase of its launch plan and identifying opportunities for the product to be scaled.

Peex enables gig-goers to create enhanced sound anywhere within a venue using wearable technology. It launched in the US and Europe on Elton John‘s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.

The company will have a presence at the Music Week Tech Summit together with O2 on October 8. Diid Osman, head of artist relations and venue partnerships, will appear on a panel covering the next generation of fan engagement in live music. Other speakers include Live Nation’s Jackie Wilgar, SVP, head of marketing, Mark Lambert, senior director, global partnerships, AEG Europe and Sam Slee, sponsorship manager, O2.

In order to support its growth plans, Peex is seeking new partners to work with to raise additional funds that will allow the business to expand into the festival market and other non-music related live events.

The goal of Peex is to enhance the live sound experience and the potential for this technology is enormous.
