Accountancy firm Campbell Dallas is expanding its Glasgow office to accommodate a wave of apprentices and trainees being taken on this year.
The extra space at its Braehead site will provide capacity for up to 80 staff and is expected to see total employee numbers there to over 200 by the end of the year.
Some 30 staff from the existing ground floor offices will be joined by 15 new apprentices and graduate trainees being recruited under the Campbell Dallas’ ‘Earn and Learn’ development programme. The firm is investing over £250,000 on the installation of utilities, cabling, technology, work-stations and office equipment.
Campbell Dallas said a recruitment drive for additional staff at all levels is expected to see the extra space fully occupied by the year end.
Peter Gallanagh, partner in charge of the expansion, said: “The extra space will be a huge asset to the Glasgow office, which has seen double digit organic growth over the last five years. The additional capacity will allow us to continue our strategy of investing in our people, the latest technology, office systems and mobile working facilities.”
Campbell Dallas and Scott Moncrieff recently merged, creating one of Scotland’s largest business advisory firms with a combined fee income of around £40m and employing over 500 staff working from 10 offices.
Since 2013 Campbell Dallas has recruited 119 apprentices and graduate trainees, including a record intake of 13 school leavers joining in 2018.
