Investing.com – Peru equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the gained 0.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the were Unacem (LM:), which rose 4.72% or 0.110 points to trade at 2.440 at the close. Minsur (LM:) added 3.57% or 0.050 points to end at 1.450 and Volcan Minera (LM:) was up 2.78% or 0.020 points to 0.740 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Candente Copper (LM:), which lost 21.05% or 0.0120 points to trade at 0.0450 in late trade. Edegel (LM:) declined 3.27% or 0.070 points to end at 2.070 and Relapasa (LM:) shed 2.53% or 0.004 points to 0.154.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 10 and 11 ended unchanged on the Lima Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.15% or 0.79 to $69.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $78.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 2.90 to trade at $1202.90 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was down 0.32% to 3.3056, while EUR/PEN fell 0.63% to 3.8544.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 94.22.
