Photos: Business community learns about revolutionary tech trends – Windsor Star


Members of the business community gathered Tuesday for a series of talks on new technology trends that will revolutionize businesses.

“Technology is everywhere and it’s becoming more and more integrated into both our personal and professional lives,” says a news release for Tech Show 2019, which focused on technology trends and solutions expected to have big impacts on small businesses.

“Using the right tech can help you and your business become more versatile, profitable, and most importantly, sustainable.”

The event, presented by the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce (WERCC) and WEtech Alliance, was held at Caesars Windsor. Sponsors included AlphaKOR Group, Kelcom, Postmedia and the Windsor Star.

The keynote speaker was Casey Lynn, strategic partner manager at Google Canada. The concluding panel discussion included local tech experts from AlphaKOR Group, Kelcom, Shopify, Splice Digital and Red Piston tackling such subjects as cybersecurity, data analytics, e-commerce, artificial intelligence and virtual and augmented reality.
