The Premium Bonds prize draw takes place on a monthly basis. Earlier this month, NS&I revealed the winners list of the December 2019 draw – and the announcement included some details about the two £1million prize winners.
NS&I explained that the December millionaires are both male.
One person is from Stockport, and has £36,000 invested.
Meanwhile, the other jackpot winner is from the area of Hampshire and Isle of Wight, and has £50,000 invested.
There were also six winners of a £100,000 prize, while 11 people scooped the third highest value prize of £50,000.
A lucky 24 people were selected for a £25,000 payout this month.
The minimum investment in Premium Bonds is £25, while the upper limit for the amount a person can hold is £50,000.
How likely is it that a person will win in the Premium Bonds?
The odds of winning for each £1 Bond number is 24,500 to one.
