The camp will be held July 8-July 26. Any student who will be in high school in the fall can attend. The program is also open to girls who graduated high school this past school year.
There is no cost for participating in the program.
Camp activities will include hands on exploration of math, science, engineering, robotics and other transportation related fields. Students will be lead through daily activities by RLNC faculty. Campers will have the opportunity to ride on trains, boats and planes. During the camp there will be three overnight trips to college campuses in Bemidji, Duluth and Minneapolis.
The registration deadline to apply for the camp is Wednesday, June 26. Any interested applicants should email Wendy Grosskopf at email@example.com with “NSTI” in the subject line. They should include their name, high school that they attend and a few sentences on why they are interested in the program. Questions about the camp can also be sent to Grosskopf at the same email.
The camp is funded by the National Summer Transportation Institute.
