Jersey Police are teaming up with Digital Jersey and Airtel-Vodaphone to give a lunchtime session as part of Safer Internet Day 2019.

The seminar is for parents, carers and teachers and aims to keep devices safe and secure by offering help on how to set up controls and restrictions on mobiles and apps.

The event is taking place at the Digital Hub today between 1-2pm.

Meanwhile, local charity YouMatter has developed a new assembly and workshop for island primary schools to help students think about how they use media and how their choices could affect them in the future.

Guernsey has also been holding events to promote cyber security at the weekend, with the Digital ACE event giving top tips to parents about how to keep their families safe online.
