Samsung Galaxy A50s gets Android 10-based One UI 2.0 update in India: Report – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Within a fortnight of rolling out the Android 10 operating system update to its Galaxy A30 smartphone, Samsung has reportedly started rolling out the for its Galaxy A50s smartphone in India.

According to a report by SamMobile, Samsung has started rolling out Android 10 update for the Galaxy A50s smartphone. The Android update that is 1.6GB in size consists of the February 2020 security patch. This update is comes along with February 2020 security patch with software version A507FNXXU3BTB2.

Usually, users get a notification regarding any software update. However, if you have turned off the automatic update or haven’t received the notification yet, head to Settings -> Software update -> Check for update manually to initiate the update manually.

To recall, the Galaxy A50s smartphone was launched in India back in September 2019 but got a price cut earlier this month. Post the price cut, the base variant of the Samsung Galaxy A50s that offers 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will cost Rs 17,499. The second storage variant offering 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will now be selling at Rs 19,999.

This is the second price cut of the Samsung Galaxy A50s. The first price cut of the handset was announced in November, where the price of the two variants was revised from Rs 22,999 and Rs 24,999 to Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999 respectively.

In terms of specs, the Galaxy A50s comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. Powered by Exynos 9611 octa-core processor, it comes with a dedicated microSD card slot to expand the storage by up to 512GB. The device offers a triple camera setup that comprises 48MP primary camera, 5MP secondary lens and 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, there is a 32MP camera for selfies.
