It looks like Samsung will soon unveil a new foldable smartphone – Samsung W21 5G.
The novelty has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance with the number SM-W2021. Apparently, this model will replace last year’s Samsung W20 (pictured), which debuted in November.
There is little information about the Samsung W21 5G yet: as the name suggests, the smartphone supports 5G, runs Android 10 and has dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz). In addition, the list includes the firmware version W2021.001, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and Wi-Fi Direct.
Most likely, the official announcement will take place in the coming months.
As a reminder, the Samsung W20 was actually a slightly updated Galaxy Fold – with 5G support and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor. What the new model will be is not yet clear.
