Santa Barbara Center for Art, Science, and Technology (SBCAST) invites the community to the Holiday Bazaar Bizarre, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday Dec. 4, at 513 Garden St. Complimentary admission includes opportunities to browse and buy new and vintage art, jewelry and crafts, primarily made by local venders and SBCAST artists in residents.

Visitors can experience bio-tech installations, music and mingling — and Santa might make an appearance. Guests will be greeted by the SBCAST 2022 Hope Tree, a gifting tree where all are welcome to give and receive complimentary items hanging from the branches.

The Bazaar Bizarre will be hosted outdoors in a spacious courtyard near the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market on Cota Street. Walking or biking is encouraged, and visitors are asked to be vaccinated or masked.

SBCAST is a center for participants to co-create. SBCAST infrastructure provides a motivating environment for creative design and development. SBCAST promotes the idea that collaborative centers can best support human effort. For mre, visit
