The biggest gainers of the session on the were Anb Insurance (SE:), which rose 9.97% or 2.14 points to trade at 23.60 at the close. Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:) added 4.96% or 5.60 points to end at 118.60 and Arab National Bank (SE:) was up 4.87% or 1.30 points to 28.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:), which lost 3.53% or 0.38 points to trade at 10.40 in late trade. Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:) declined 2.49% or 0.22 points to end at 8.63 and Leejam Sports Company SJSC (SE:) shed 2.40% or 1.90 points to 77.30.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 93 to 87 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 3.63% or 2.37 to $62.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $71.63 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 8.60 to trade at $1288.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.23% to 4.1831, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 97.787.
