The biggest gainers of the session on the were Electrical Industries Co (SE:), which rose 10.00% or 1.76 points to trade at 19.36 at the close. Bawan (SE:) added 9.87% or 1.38 points to end at 15.36 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:) was up 6.64% or 0.56 points to 9.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:), which lost 3.73% or 0.90 points to trade at 23.20 in late trade. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:) declined 3.21% or 2.80 points to end at 84.50 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:) shed 2.80% or 2.20 points to 76.30.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 106 to 62 and 22 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.11% or 0.63 to $56.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.92% or 0.61 to hit $65.69 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 12.65 to trade at $1298.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.03% to 4.2166, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 97.322.
