MM Search has launched its first Executive Intern Programme with rising stars from Scottish universities.
In collaboration with the Saltire Scholar internship programme, run by Entrepreneurial Scotland, the executive search firm has offered two paid summer 2021 internships to students from St. Andrews and Herriot Watt.
The internships will see third-year students Keava Low – international relations at St. Andrews – and Harry Browne – international business at Herriot Watt – take on temporary roles within the firm.
They will focus on current commercial roles and will be offered behind the scenes insights into projects, both within the UK and internationally.
Ken Morrice, founding managing partner at MM Search, said: “The Saltire Scholar internship programme is a fantastic chance for students to undertake an internship with burgeoning businesses and we are privileged to be one of those.
“As a current member of the Saltire Leaders Catalyst Programme, it was a great opportunity for us to be part of this initiative and help select interns for the wider programme.
“We are delighted to be offering these positions on a fully paid basis to two rising stars who both have a lot to offer – the tangible experience will give them both a huge insight into the industry and we hope a taste for the future.“
Sean McGrath, finance director at Entrepreneurial Scotland, said: “Working with Ken and his team will allow these high potential individuals to experience the inner mechanics of a rapidly growing business first-hand.“
The students begin their internships next month.
