Share price of IGL rises as Nifty strengthens


Shares of . gained 0.77 per cent to Rs 354.6 in Wednesday’s trade as of 10:40AM (IST). The stock hit a high price of Rs 355.3 and low of Rs 350.75 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 19.8 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:40AM shares and turnover at Rs 0.36 crore around that time. The stock of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 604.0 and 52-week low prices of Rs 322.1, respectively.

The stock’s Beta value, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.0.

Promotor/FII Holding

Promoters held 45.0 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2022, while foreign investors held 20.34 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 7.77 per cent.

Key Financials

The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2480.31 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2022, up 10.44 per cent from previous quarter’s Rs 2245.83 crore and up 42.69 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 1738.3 crore. Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 430.93 crore, up 14.88 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
