Sony joins Samsung and LG with a blockbuster upgrade to your 4K TV –

Sony TV owners have just received a blockbuster update to their TVs which brings a swathe of extra content to these pin-sharp screens. The Japanese technology firm has announced that it is releasing the Disney+ app on their TVs which means fans can get instant access to this service without needing an extra streaming device.

Sony says that, as of this week, the Disney+ application is available on select Sony BRAVIA Android TVs in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland.

If you’re not aware, Disney+ offers hundreds of movies and shows for a £5.99 per month fee.

For your money, you’ll get access to a swathe of films and exclusive content such as The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and The World according to Jeff Goldblum.

There’s also movies from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar with some content beamed in full 4K at no extra costs and four people can binge at once.

As we mentioned earlier, Disney+ costs £5.99 but you can also pay £59.99 for the year which makes things slightly cheaper.
