STOUGHTON, Mass. – Stoughton police were set to unveil a multi-state ‘organized criminal enterprise’ in a news conference Friday morning, according to a release.

The “major development” concerns a break-in publicized by the department in February, in which a burglar can be seen on video climbing out of a victim’s home.

It’s unclear what the police department’s investigation revelaed. This story will be updated with details.

The news conference will also involve Massachusetts State Police, FBI investigators, New York City Police Detectives, Pennsylvania State Police, Brookline Police, Milton Police, Plainville Police, Wilminton Police, Andover Police, Newton Police, Dedham police, Palm Beach Florida Sheriff’s Office, Broward County Sheriff’s Office, and the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office.
