DULUTH, MN– Students in Duluth’s Lincoln Park neighborhood spent Friday afternoon learning about STEM subjects in the sun.

The campers with the Shoot for the Stars enrichment program watched their hand-made rockets take flight at Duluth’s Wheeler Field.

The camp is designed to spark students’ interest in science, technology, engineering, and math, and is especially geared toward kids who may not have been exposed to these fields before.

St. Scholastica is a driving force behind the program.

Shoot for the Stars program is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Education, the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation, the Rotary Club of Duluth, Kiwanis of Friendly Duluth, and Enbridge.
