What happens when one of North America’s fastest growing conferences moves north? The answer is Collision Conference, which lands in Toronto for the first time from May 20 to 23, 2019 at the Enercare Centre.

Proudly sponsored by CBC Toronto, Collision brings tech professionals from around the world under one roof. From startups to established global brands, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from leaders and innovators from a variety of organizations in the digital space and beyond.

With more than 100 speakers, 120 countries represented and specialized events taking place within the three days, here are a few things to keep on your radar:

Hometown Representation

Mayor John Tory

Speakers from organizations ranging from Shopify to Forbes ensure there is something for everyone at Collision, including GTA representation from:

  • Director X, internationally acclaimed director and producer

  • John Tory, Mayor of Toronto and local tech industry supporter

  • Bill Manning, President of Toronto FC

  • Allan Lau, Founder of Wattpad

PITCH Competition

Are you an entrepreneur with a great idea? The PITCH competition invites early-stage startups who want to take their companies to the next stage to participate. On May 21, 60 startups will take on the challenge to pitch their company to a panel of judges, before ultimately being subject to an audience and final judging vote to crown the winner on May 23.

Night Summits

For those looking for extra conference-related activities after hours, Collision has organized a series of events each night around the city. To encourage attendees to connect and get to know a few of Toronto’s many neighbourhoods, evening events will take place in Kensington Market, the Distillery District, King West and Liberty Village.
