TTU —Tennessee Tech volleyball announced the signing of a trio of student-athletes to the Golden Eagles 2020 signing class on Wednesday, announced by head coach Jeannette Waldo. The new Golden Eagles include Madolyn Isringhausen (Edwardsville, Ill.), Katie DiRaimondo (Manitowoc, Wis.), and Olivia Taylor (Rockton, Ill.).

“This is a very exciting time because every coach is excited about their recruiting class. It is so much fun to think of what the future could look like for your team and all of the possibilities are endless,” said Waldo. “Each recruiting class is talented in their own way, but ours is bursting at the seams with athleticism, personality, and competitive mentality.”

Madolyn Isringhausen

OH | 5’11 | Edwardsville, Ill. (Edwardsville High School)

Isringhausen is a 5’11 outside hitter who currently attends and plays for Edwardsville High School in Edwardsville, Ill. With the Tigers, she earned All-Southwest Conference second team recognition during her junior season in 2018.

In addition to her high school play, Isringhausen also competes at the club level with High Performance St. Louis Volleyball (HPSTL). Isringhausen’s father, Jason Isringhausen, was a former Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher, winning a World Series title with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2006 and is in the Cardinals Hall of Fame.

Katie DiRaimondo

OH | 6’0 | Manitowoc, Wis. (Lincoln High School)

DiRaimondo is a 6’0 outside hitter who currently attends and plays at Manitowoc Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, Wis. DiRaimondo has had a prolific career with the Ships, earning a 2019 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Region selection during her senior season. She has also been a three-time All-Conference first team selection, earning a unanimous selection during her junior season.

She was also named 2018 All-State honorable mention, 2019 All-State second team, AVCA high school All-Region, and earned 2019 Fox River Classic Conference Player of the Year during her senior season. DiRaimondo has also competed with the Fox Cities Elite Volleyball Club (FC Elite), in addition to playing with the Ships during her prep career.

Olivia Taylor

L | 5’6 | Rockton, Ill. (Hononegah Community High School)

Taylor is a 5’6 libero who currently attends and plays for the Hononegah Community High School in Rockton, Ill. Taylor was named All-Northern Illinois Conference honorable mention this fall during her senior season.

She has also been honored on the Junior Volleyball Association (JVA) watch list three times during her prep career. In addition to her high school play, Taylor has also competed with the VC United Volleyball Club.
