IF your kids love reading then The Works has the perfect advent calendars for this Christmas.
The retailer has a new storybook collection where each of the 24 days reveals a new tale to read.
The calendars come in four themes: Disney, Disney Princess, Marvel and The Gruffalo and Friends – meaning there’s something to suit all your bookworms.
Each one comes in a presentation case and has 24 books with stories featuring all your kids favourites.
For instance, the Disney Princess calendar includes everyone from Belle and Ariel to Moana and Rapunzel.
Meanwhile, the Marvel calendar showcases superheroes such as Spiderman, The Hulk and the Avengers.
The Disney offering features characters such as 101 Dalmatians, Mickey Mouse and even the Incredibles.
And the Gruffalo and friends version is based on based on the family-favourite picture books The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom, The Snail and the Whale and more.
You can shop the full range of storybook advent calendars on The Works website.
The calendars usually cost £19.99, but at the moment they’re available for just £12 meaning a saving of 40%.
That said, it’s definitely worth shopping around as The Works isn’t the only retailer stocking them and it’s not always the cheapest.
