KUALA LUMPUR: Can-One Bhd , Sunway Group, Datasonic Group Bhd and Bintai Kinden Corp Bhd are among the stocks to watch on Tuesday, according to JF Apex Research.

Can-One has received a letter of offer from private equity firm Southern Capital Group Pte Ltd to acquire its wholly-owned dairy product manufacturing arm F & B Nutrition Sdn Bhd for an indicative price of between RM800mil and RM1bil.

Dolomite Corp Bhd ’s wholly-owned subsidiary Dolomite Industries Co Sdn Bhd has entered into a share sale agreement with Sunway Holdings Sdn Bhd, for the proposed sale of its entire equity interest in Dolomite Granite Quarry Sdn Bhd for RM125mil.

Datasonic has secured a RM28.79mil contract from the government to provide maintenance services of card personalisation centres at the National Registration Department.

Bintai Kinden has bagged a RM20.4mil contract to undertake infrastructure and associated works for the Digital Free Trade Zone (DFTZ) at KL International Airport.

Meanwhile, US markets were mixed overnight with the Nasdaq plunging over 1% as tech counters tumbled on concerns over antitrust regulation.

Earlier, European stocks declined due to uncertainties over Brexit and trade war as well as slower UK manufacturing data.

“Following the mixed performance in the US and Europe, the FBM KLCI could take a breather and consolidate below the resistance of 1,660 points,” JF Apex said.
