AHMEDABAD: Viithiisys Technologies, a boutique IT consulting and Services Company, has acquired On-demand application development start-up Actiwate in an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition was the result of Actiwate’s need to scale up their operations and Viithiisys need for an experienced product management team for their flagship product Vizitor. Post the acquisition, Amanjot Malhotra founder of Actiwate, will exit the company and act as the advisor.

“We have worked with the Viithiisys team before on multiple projects and this acquisition gives our team an opportunity to work on a global product such as Vizitor” said Amanjot Malhotra, founder, Actiwate.

The Chandigarh based Viithiisys Technologies that enables organizations across the globe to leverage their IT infrastructure, has enabled many start-ups to build their product on technical aspects like Homecanvas, Factordaily, Thecharmworks and Tokopedia.

“We glad to expand our product portfolio and clientele with this acquisition. This acquisition will aid us to build a robust and experience-oriented product with the potency to give voice to the people in the Visitor Management Platform” said Gaurav Saini, CEO, Viithisys.

According to Gaurav Saini, one of the major factor driving the growth of the visitor management platform software market is the need for paperless administration in several organizations owing to the ease of maintaining data. Moreover, stringent government regulations and policies by associations in maintaining the visitor data records are likely to drive the growth of the market over the forecast period.

The global visitor management software market is expected to reach approximately $6300 million by 2025. The global visitor management software market is expected to exhibit a CAGR of more than 15.0% between 2017 and 2025.
