Who has the most subscribers on YouTube?

While the kids might all be about TikTok this and Instagram that these days, one platform that has remained a dominant force on influencers is YouTube.

An online video sharing and social media platform, YouTube was launched on February 14, 2005 and is now the second-most visited website after Google.

With such heavy traffic, people have the opportunity to make a name for themselves.

So what are the YouTube channels with the most subscribers?

Who are the most followed channels on YouTube?

The most followed accounts on YouTube range from Indian music corporations to eight year old girls – variety really is the spice of life.

Without further delay, let’s find out the top 10…

1. T-Series, 215 million

T-Series is India’s largest music record label, with up to a 35% share of the Indian music market. They are best known for Bollywood music soundtracks and Indi-pop music.

The channel, which started in 2006, had a well-publicised battle with PewDiePie in 2019 as the two raced to become the most followed account on the platform. T-Series won, and has since gone on to become the first account with over 200 million subs.

2. Cocomelon Nursery Rhymes, 133 million

Cocomelon, who opened their YouTube account back in 2006, specialises in 3D animation videos of both traditional nursery rhymes and their own original children’s songs.

As well as being the second-most subscribed channel in the world, they are the top subscribed children’s channel and second most viewed channel in the world.

3. SET India, 131 million

The YouTube channel for Sony Entertainment Television (SET), an Indian Hindi-language general entertainment pay television channel, which is a subsidiary of Sony has over 111 billion total views, making it the third most-viewed YouTube channel overall.

With 131 million subscribers, they are also the third most subscribed channel.

4. PewDiePie, 111 million

Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg – or PewDiePie to his 111 million friends – is a Swedish YouTuber known for his Let’s Play videos.

Even though he’s only fourth on the top 10 most subscribed channels, he has the undeniable victory of being the highest subscribed channel for an individual personality and not a group or organisation.

PewDiePie has amassed over 28.2 billion total views since starting in 2010.

5. MrBeast, 94.8 million

MrBeast – Jimmy Donaldson, to his parents – is the fifth most subscribed to channel on YouTube. An impressive feat for a 24 year old who started YouTubing in 2012.

He has been credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that centres on expensive stunts.

He also runs several other YouTube channels, including Beast Reacts, MrBeast Gaming, MrBeast Shorts, and a philanthropy channel.

6. Kids Diana Show, 93.9 million

Eva Diana Kidisyuk, known online as Kids Diana Show, is a Ukrainian-American YouTuber.

Together with her brother, Roma, and parents Volodymyr and Olena, she hosts several YouTube channels producing roleplay-oriented children’s content.

Diana’s content includes children’s songs, unboxings, vlogging, educational entertainment, and roleplays.

Diana has the sixth most subscribed account on YouTube – not bad for an eight year old.

7. Like Nastya, 91 million

Another child born in 2014 makes the list. Anastasia Radzinskaya is a Russian-American YouTuber.

Anastasia’s content includes children’s songs, unboxings, vlogging, and roleplays.

Her channels are dubbed into German, Arabic, Bangla, French, Portuguese, Hindi, Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, and Indonesian.

8. WWE, 87.7 million

The World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment company has had us in a chokehold since the 1980s, and it’s still proving to be the champ.

Giving stars like Hulk Hogan, the Undertake and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, WWE continues to excite the culture, being the eighth most subscribed to channel globally.

9. Zee Music Company, 83.3 million

Zee Music Company (ZMC) is another Indian music company making the top 10 subscribed to accounts on YouTube. Even though rival T-Series is at number one, Zee Music Company’s ascent to the top 10 is impressive considering the company was only launched in 2014.

10. Vlad and Niki, 80.9 million

Siblings Vladislav and Nikita Vashketov started their YouTube channel on April 23, 2018, and in just four years have become the tenth most subscribed channel.

In 2019, the brothers were judged to be the YouTubers making the most money per video at an estimated $312,000 per video (approx. £253,000).
