Windrose Capital leads $600,000 funding in Nivesh

PUNE: Windrose Capital has led a $600,000 funding round in Nivesh, a mass market mutual funds platform. This is its second follow on investment in the company, which also saw participation from other investors as well.

Nivesh will is expected to use the investment to enter new geographies and expand its existing customer base.

Anurag Garg, founder,, said, “We have seen that people want to invest in products like mutual funds, but don’t know how to go ahead. We…are enabling financial advisors to sell the right products through the platform. We are currently growing at 200% annually but are on track to accelerate the growth and aim to manage assets of Rs 10,000 crore in the next 4-5 years.”

Nivesh, is a platform aimed at marginal investors from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities with limited or no access to formal public financial markets. Agents and small institutions use the platform to facilitate and simplify mutual fund investments.

Windrose Capital had earlier invested $500,000 in seed funding in 2018.
